It’s wonderful to get out to the beach every so often…so much to explore and experience.
This was a wonderful field trip! We learned about the Chesapeake Bay, oyster and crab populations, and we even got to talk with the students about their research.
Working with pastels can be a bit messy, but the results were wonderful and the children enjoyed exploring a different color medium.
Who wouldn’t love this activity?! The children mixed up their own batch of frosting and played with different tips. The best part was eating the results!
We looked at shapes in books and around us, and then put some pretty colored shapes together to create art.

Finding our individual fingerprint shapes was interesting and fun!
The challenge…to see how many different ways to get a ping pong ball across the room without dropping it. Materials…scissors, paper, tape, string, tongs. The rule…you can’t touch the ping pong ball! The boys came up with 16 so far.
